Photographic Highlights
Extraordinary opportunities to capture images of wildlife in stunning landscapes, iconic portraits of big cats on the kopjes, both in color and in black and white, big cats in action shots and small cats.
Photographic coaching
Through On this safari you’ll develop your photographic vision in the field, refine your craft, improve your photography and post-processing skills for color and black and white imagery, and hopefully end up with a strong portfolio of African wildlife images. Many of my past guests have been awarded with images taken on safari with me and some have become professional photographers themselves.
Starting from 2024, my safaris will be master classes from the field to online classes before and after the end of the tour.
SAFARI LOCATIONS
LAKE NDUTU REGION
Great Migration
Watching the plains filled with Wildebeests as far as the eye can see is one of nature’s most amazing spectacles, and one that is very hard to convey in pictures or words. You just have to be there to experience it in person.
Big Cats heaven
Amazingly high concentration of big cats occur in this season in this area. One of the best places in Africa to see Cheetahs hunting and Small cats such as Servals, Caracals and Wild Cats.
SERENEGETI
Big Cats on kopjes
The spectacular kopjes are a great setting for iconic images of Lions and Leopards looking down on the plains from the rocks.
Endless wild spaces
We’ll explore remote areas of one of the world’s last true wildernesses, where very few people venture and where the plains are dotted with magnificent rocky outcrops
NGORONGORO CRATER
Garden of Eden
A living “Garden of Eden”, with wildlife teeming all year round. From large bull Elephant and Black Rhinos to majestic black-maned Lions.
Lighting can be dramatic in the morning, especially if it is cloudy or misty, great conditions for images of animals with the backdrop of the crater walls
