WALK THE EARTH
My latest book available now!
WALK THE EARTH
Walk the Earth is my third photographic book, a journey into the world of African Elephants in search of the last great tuskers. I have been working on this project intensively for the last five years and now it has finally come true. Images date back all the way to my first encounter with the extraordinary Tim in 2010. The book has been supported by an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign, and it has now been released for worldwide distribution by Prestel Publishing in the fall of 2025.
“Stunning photos spotlight vanishing ‘super tusker’ elephants” (CNN, 04/09/2025)
“For anyone who values photography, conservation or the quiet majesty of the natural world, Walk the Earth is a memorable and essential volume.” (Amateur Photographer, 18/11/2025)
“remarkable collection of pictures” (Professional Photo, November 2025)
“From a lone bull portrait to an action shot of a matriarch leading her herd across a parched savannah, Veronesi’s collection invites readers to walk alongside these ancient creatures.” (National Geographic Traveller, November 2025)
“Beautifully produced, Walk the Earth is a breathtaking tribute to these gentle giants, offering an intimate glimpse into their lives in the African wilderness.” (Outdoor Photography, October 2025)

One Life
A celebration of life as the strongest connection between us humans and our living companions on this planet, the animals, is ultimately the essence of this book. They are who we are. They were when we weren’t yet. They will be when we’ll be gone. Only some of them, unfortunately. We are not above them. We can’t own or dispose them. What we are doing to them, we are doing to us. We are one, though in different external appearances. We have one heart. One soul. One life.
