Out on the open plains of the Serengeti, I found three male Lions walking together before sunrise, often rubbing heads and yawning. Eventually, just as the sun rose, one of them laid down and began roaring loudly just next to the vehicle. The vapor lit up by the rising sun was unforgettable.
