Tsavo East. 2021
Drove hundreds of kilometers and endless days through the wildereness of Tsavo, scanning the bushes in the distance, searching in every family of Elephants I came across. Many times I lost hope looking at the endlessness of the Tsavo landscape, wondering to myself how would I ever find the most magnifcent female Elephant alive today. But one afternoon finally, there she was, browsing with her family. My heart stopped and my hands started shaking as I tried to compose a few images before she disappeared into the bush once more. Here is one of my favourites from those brief moments with Dida.
