PORTRAIT OF CRAIG

from US$4,050.00

Amboseli, 2018

Amboseli’s current biggest tusker is certainly Craig, the most gentle and relaxed tusker I have ever encountered. When Tim was alive, people often confused them as their tusks were similarly shaped, but Tim was actually slightly bigger. On this particular morning I was thrilled to see Craig walking towards the Amboseli marsh along a breeding herd. As he came closer I decided to focus tightly on his head and tusks, waiting for a moment when he would looks straight at me.
