PORTRAIT OF TIM
Amboseli, 2010
I first saw the late magnificent great tusker Tim in early 2010. He emerged from the woodlands one morning alongside a huge breeding herd, he was in musth, chasing females all over the place. I followed him for days, hoping that he would eventually come close to the vehicle sometime. He did on this occasion, accompanied by two younger males, his companions, and a miriad of egrets.
