Amboseli NP, 2025
Archival Pigment Print
This image was taken one late morning in June 2025. The sky was full of dark dramatic clouds but there was a lot of light, the sun often shone through, and I was thrilled to find Craig hanging out in the acacia woodlands surrounding Amboseli. He was slowly moving from one bush to the other, and I captured several great images on that morning, of which this is certainly one of my favorites. It is a great reminder of this extraordinary Elephant, who unfortunately passed away of old age in early 2026.
Available editions:
Small - Edition of 20 - Size 24" x 16" (60 × 40 cm)
Standard - Edition of 10 - Size 45" x 30" (114 × 76 cm)
