First appeared in Amboseli NP in early 2020, x004 is a stunning super tusker who rarely visits the park, only when in musth. Born approximately in 1980-1985, he is not very tolerant of vehicles and won’t refrain from charging if he feels disturbed. On my latest sighting in 2023, he was in musth and appeared more relaxed than before in the presence of my vehicle. The tip of his trunk is damaged.
