This great tusker was seen by me and my group of guests in June 2021 one late evening at a waterhole in Tsavo East NP. He emerged from the darkness to drink alongside other Elephants. He is an amazing tusker, probably born around 1975. It was pitch black so these photographs are very grainy. I am not aware of anyone who knew this elephant before this sighting. Hence he doesn’t have a name. I have not seen him again since then.
