Finn was born in 1983 to a female called Fernanda, from the FD family, as per the Amboseli Trust records. As many other bulls, he shows up in the park when in musth and is not easily seen at other times. He is a magnificent bull with ever-growing and very wide tusks. He is easily recognized by the notches in his left ear.
